Hi, I am Gus Mensah.

I’m a Hampshire Portrait Photographer and the owner/artist behind the camera at Gus Mensah Photography. I work from my studios in Poole and Southampton and I serve Hampshire, Dorset and the New Forest.

As you'll see from my galleries, I just love photographing people and my goal is to capture the best portraits that you've ever had of yourself. I primarily work with women at all stages of their lives...and NO I DO NOT ONLY WORK WITH MODELS!

Haha, I get asked that a lot. Whilst I do work with professional and aspiring models, dancers, actors and performers. I offer the same experience to "everyday people" too, with a fully guided photoshoot. I commonly shoot women who want a confidence boost or who are celebrating a milestone in their lives; prom, graduating from Uni, having a baby, a milestone birthday, weight loss, divorce/separation.

No matter how you feel about being photographed, I aim to make the whole experience fun and empowering from the initial chat to choosing your final images….and I promise that you will receive a stunning set of images that you will want to share for years to come.

It is my mission to help you look great in front of my camera and to also feel great about yourself long after your photo session.
